Prof. Zhi-Jian Zhao

Zhi-Jian Zhao (赵志坚) received his BS(2006) and MS(2008) from Zhejiang University and PhD(2012) from Technical University of Munich. Currently Dr. Zhao is a faculty member in Energy and Catalysis Adventure TeamSchool of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Tianjin University. Dr. Zhao’s research interest in mechanistic studies on heterogeneous catalyst using multi-scaling simulation methods, including density functional theory, molecular mechanics.

个人简介:

赵志坚,本科(2006年)、硕士(2008年)毕业于浙江大学化学系,导师为王琦教授。2012年博士毕业于德国慕尼黑工业大学催化研究中心,导师为研究中心主任Rösch教授。2013-2015年,分别在美国普渡大学Greeley课题组、斯坦福大学Nøskov教授(美国、丹麦工程院院士)课题组进行博士后研究工作。2015年11月回国,加入天津大学化工学院巩金龙老师团队,负理论催化研究方向。目前任天津大学化工学院教授,教育部长江学者特聘教授,教育部低碳能源化工国际合作联合实验室副主任,天津市能源化工国际联合研究中心副主任。曾获天津大学“我心目中的十佳好导师”(2020)、“万人计划”青年拔尖人才(2019)、天津市自然科学一等奖(2022、2017年)、高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖发明一等奖(2022)、Chem. Soc. Rev. Emerging Investigators(2020)、基金委第六届、第十一届、第十二届化学工程青年科学家学术研讨会优秀论文奖(2016、2021、2022)、天津大学北洋青年学者(2017)、天津大学北洋青年骨干教师(2016)等荣誉。2022年起担任化工三大期刊Chemical Engineering Science的Executive Editor。

迄今为止在Nature Nano.、Nature Commun.、JACS、Angew. Chem.、Chem. Sci.、Chinese J. Catal.、ACS Catal.、J. Catal.、Nature Rev. Mater.、Chem. Soc. Rev.等国际权威杂志发表发表SCI学术论文160余篇,撰写专著一章,累计引用14000余次。Angew. Chem.、Chem. Sci.、Nature Rev. Mater.等文章被遴选为封面重点报道。曾主持国家自然科学基金重点项目等四项,科技部重点研发计划课题一项、政府间合作项目一项。

主要研究领域为人工智能指导下的催化剂理性设计设计。从表面反应机理入手,理解催化反应过程,通过发展人工智能辅助的新型计算方法,筛选潜在的高活性、高选择性催化剂,并通过实验合成验证筛选结果。
